There is no set scale of grants at present - the different funders have different capacities. We are open to hearing how the local voluntary sector envisages addressing local needs, and what scale of project is required to do so effectively.

South Cheshire has some significant areas of deprivation and community needs. The funders in this forum all offer grants in this area.

This Funders’ Forum will generally only consider funding charities based within the South Cheshire area, unless you can demonstrate a clear gap in provision, an in-depth knowledge of the local community and that you are the best placed organisation to address this need.

The different funders have differing borders to their areas, so your project will need to be matched with the right funder(s) both for grantmaking principles and geographic area. This is why the forum is useful, allowing you to express interest to the group with a single form.
